Creating a Vision of your life ten years from now

It is ten years from now. As you answer these questions, YOU ARE THERE. Let’s pretend that you are returning from a very pleasant trip either professional or personal. You are thinking about how wonderful your life is!! You are living where you always dreamed of living; you are doing what you love to do; you are surrounded by people who you care about and who really care about you; you feel valued and rewarded in all aspects of your life. You can not imagine things being better. Please remember that this is your dream. If there are others who are involved, please ask them to take the assessment. If necessary, you can negotiate later. The result will be a narrative of your life at that moment. You may want to repeat this exercise until the result fits your future vision.

  1. Where are you living? (Choose/type in up to three: specifically, town, region, state, urban, suburban, rural, isolated, etc. If you don’t know a specific place, give any descriptors that you can, so that someone reading your vision would be able to picture where you are.)
